Gabby was patient, caring and again focused on my hand therapy in a professional manner. IF my need for PT and/or OT arises, I will be back at MOTION.

Carlo took very good care of me over here. I have a deep gratitude for the therapy that I did here. After a difficult break, breaking three bones in my ankle, Carlo helped me learn to comfortably walk again. This is the most amazing physical therapy clinic with the most delightful and brilliant and well trained staff. It's also the only company that Hospital for Special Surgeries recommends for PT that accepts my meh insurance and for that I'm also grateful.

From the time you walk into Motion on Metropolitan Ave., you feel so respected and cared for (even when you call to make your appointment). I am uniquely qualified to judge as I had months of PT at Hospital for Special Surgeries after a car accident caused extreme neck and shoulder injuries and then I have organized and attended a ton of PT sessions for my disabled elderly mother (HSS, Ivy, Spear, Ergo, etc.)... Motion has been consistently better than any other PT office in every way, it's a magical place and I'm only sorry I didn't find them sooner. Carlo, my Physical Therapist at Motion, who is treating my sprained ankle (with complete ligament tear), is the best of the best, he is the GOAT of physical therapists and I adore this genius.

I've discussed Carlo with other Motion patients and everyone is in agreement, this man is a masterful practitioner and an awesome human being (skilled, motivating, compassionate, funny, creative, research-oriented). He has so many tools in his toolbelt and so many of his patients trip out on how much better they feel under his supervision. I spoke to a woman who had spinal fusion surgery and she was saying she could barely walk with a cane when she started with him and is now walking pain-free a month later.

He practices manipulation at the beginning of every session and uses so many modalities (deep massage, cupping, tens stimulation, etc.) and they all seem to alleviate me of pain and allow me to do the exercises he then assigns me. My range of motion has drastically improved since I started just two weeks ago. I went from sometimes crying in pain when I walked tentatively down stairs to not even experiencing pain when I race down stairs. I haven't taken any pain meds for four days. I'm not going to pretend that the sessions are always pain-free but I still look forward to going every single time and am sad when the session ends because dude make makes PT fun and I can always anticipate the pain relief each session provides later.

The manager (a fellow PT) is a dynamo who runs a tight ship and hires amazing people. The support staff members are all delightful and helpful as well and I have noticed that the other physical therapists at this location are amazingly attentive and talented when they work with other people. The front desk crew are just the most positive, convivial, organized, and helpful humans as well. I sound like some crazed lunatic that was paid for this review but really I'm just an unpaid crazed fangirl of this AMAZING PT studio. Run don't walk (or at least hobble) over to Motion and make an appointment. You'll be in the most skilled and capable hands and you'll be alleviated of a lot of pain if you commit yourself to your orthopedic recovery under such sublime supervision.

I attended Motion Sports (Forest Hills) from March 2024-October 2024 after a hip arthroscopy. I cannot recommend a better place to have physical therapy. My physical therapist Julio worked with my HSS team to develop a treatment plan that ultimately got me back up on my feet to not only walk, but also to run again. I'm so thankful for Julio and the Motion Sports team for their hard work. Words cannot express how grateful I am that I can now walk and run again. Thank you!!

Thank you for the dedication received by Mr. PENA. I would have returned but I have been preparing for surgeries. I appreciated every visit. Please inform Mr. PENA I do miss him and perhaps if I have to return to PT I would surely request him. Thank you all.

Had a great PT experience with Carlos. He is a professional who actively listens and is knowledgeable about what exercises to address my hip issues. My hip pains have improved vastly from what I learned. After a year of trying various treatments working with Carlos has brought about most improvement. Very grateful! Thank you!

I like motion sport medicine and physical therapy because everyone has been pleasant and professional. My therapist is very detailed in his explanation of every exercise and why he has me doing which I love. The only problem that I have with this location is that I could only have one body part at a time taken care of there, which doesn't make sense I was approved for more than one. Other than that it is great place to help in your recovery.

The Therapists here are great! The place is very clean and staff is super friendly and helpful! Only issue I have is that I can barely get an appointment. They are always so booked and I have to wait weeks before I can get someone. They need more staff!!
