I had an amazing experience here! I haven’t had any luck with my local doctors, so decided this place might be worth a 3.5 hour drive. I’m so glad I decided to schedule with them. I just went in for an initial consultation about checking my hormones, and everyone there was so friendly and considerate! Alyssa at the front desk was amazing and so helpful getting me scheduled around all my drive time. The nursing staff is very thorough with their medical history intake and review, and I felt like NP Kelli Porter actually listened to me and my concerns. She gave me her professional opinion but didn’t try to push or convince me of anything. I’m schedule to go back for a yearly exam and a follow up. This place was definitely worth all the driving!

I was so excited for my appointment, as I wanted to try out a provider that specializes in menopause. Caveat that I saw one of the NPs, not the main dr here. I am extremely disappointed with so many things. Communication of insurance coverage even though they had more than enough time to confirm benefits and communicate how much my appt. would cost. I ended up paying $170 even though I clearly communicated I didn’t want to proceed until I knew my insurance would be covered…to which they replied “I’m sure you’ll be fine you have a PPO”. I waited one hour to see the doctor for 10 mins and this was for a first appt! How are you supposed to establish care for a patient in that little time! Extremely unprofessional, the doctor didn’t show one ounce of interest in me as a person. I felt the “factory mentality” in this place. I am also disheartened by the countless marketing and promotions in the office to augment bodies and appearances. For a place to that specializes in women, it’s clear they are buying into the patriarchy’s idea of how a woman should look. Gross.

I recently moved to the Austin area and decided to try this office for my annual well-woman visit. The office staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and the PA I saw took the time to address all my questions and concerns. Overall, the visit was positive, and I felt confident in the care I received.

However, I had an issue with the billing process. I was under the impression that the office was within my insurance network, but I later received a bill that classified my visit as “high risk.” I wasn’t informed about why this classification was applied, especially considering I don’t have any co-morbidities and am in generally good health. I just wanted a routine checkup to ensure everything was well.

After contacting my insurance, they reviewed the billing code and told me they’d investigate. Unfortunately, after several months of waiting, my claim was denied, and the same bill was applied to my visit. While I may not fully understand all the intricacies of insurance coverage, I don’t appreciate being charged for something that I still don’t understand.

I’m not blaming the medical professionals themselves, but I do feel disappointed with how this issue was handled and the lack of clear communication. Due to this experience, I won’t be returning to the office.

I experienced an unsatisfactory visit to the office, where I was kept waiting in the reception area and treated impolitely. Despite repeated phone calls requesting the office address and additional information to be emailed, I did not receive a timely response. I arrived on schedule, but was forced to wait again. The office staff cited a 10-minute delay in processing paperwork as the reason for not being able to see me. Unfortunately, my encounter with this office was marred by disorganization and a notable lack of professionalism. The office atmosphere was unprofessional, similar to street market where you can buy onion and tomatoes . I am extremely dissatisfied and frustrated, having waited a month for this appointment and taken a day off work, only to have my time wasted. It appears that the office does not place a high value on patients' time or health. And they are not really sorry for this situation just they don’t care. If the office reflects the standard of service, I am apprehensive about the quality of medical care provided. When lower standards are the norm, it indicates that everything will fall short, resulting in disappointment.

Glad to have finally found a gyno that I trust and makes visits easy. Friendly office staff, they’re really communicative, nurses are all really knowledgeable and prompt. Dr Jukes is genuine, friendly and trustworthy.

I started going to Modern Women’s Health to begin Hormone Replacement Therapy. The staff is always very friendly, and I never have to wait past my scheduled appointment time. I have mostly seen one of the NP’s (who is lovely), but I had to have a procedure done in the Westlake office yesterday, and I got to meet Dr.Jukes for the first time. She is wonderful!!! So friendly and took the time to discuss my health with me.
I am thankful to have moved my GYN needs to Dr. Jukes and her wonderful practice.
