SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!

I wish I could negative stars. The price looks good until you get there - then they nail you with an insane insurance fee! I have excellent coverage yet it wasn't good enough for them so I had to pay an extra $30 A DAY for their insurance. Everyone in line ahead of me had the same issue.

They know they can get away with completely ripping off their customers because of how expensive it is to rent a car as a walk-up at the airport.

I called as soon I got to the pick-up spot at the airport and was told the shuttle was 5-10 minutes away. Nope - more like 30 minutes.

The first car they tried to give me had a warning light on the dashboard saying the car was over 1,200 miles OVERDUE FOR SERVICE.

STAY AWAY FROM GREEN MOTION!!!!!!

This is a scam company. I brought with me the "required" declaration page for my State Farm auto insurance and we had over $500,000 in combined liability insurance. But they only look at the liability line and require $300,000. Who caries that much other than a vehicle in a fleet? They wanted to charge me an additional $40/day for their insurance which would have increased my rental price by 2.5X!!!
I told them that I wasn't playing their game and walked out the door. They already had my $101 deposit so I immediately called my credit card company and got a full refund. I was going to take their shuttle back to the airport but luckily my brother came to get me and I rented a car from Budget the next day without any hassles. Do NOT even think about using this company.
Additionally, I was suspicious as I approached their door and the stairway was narrow and up about 5 steps. Nearly everyone coming from the airport has luggage and even though mine was carry on only it was a big hassle!
Rent from a reputable company. Do NOT go to this site especially if you arrive after dark as it's a long way around via roads from the terminal and in an industrial area.
My daughter got scammed on Thanksgiving Day after dark by another company in the area. If the price looks too good to be true -- the old adage says it's not true and this hold true here.

Horrible car service will never use this rental!

We had reservations with this car rental place who advertised themselves to be off the airport rental, however they did not mention how far from the airport they actually are. We had to take two shuttles plus wait 10 to 15 minutes for a shuttle bus to go on a 12 minute drive to the actual rental office.
Once we got to the rental place there was only one employee and we waited for an additional 15 minutes to get assistance. Then were told that the car we initially reserved was given away cause we were late, how can we possibly be on schedule when it takes about 30 to 40 minutes to get there and get any assistance?
We were given another car smaller then we would have liked and a we also reserved a car seat which was the most dirtiest car seat they can possibly rent out. All their car seats were either dirty or small. They keep all the car seats outside which is why they are dirty.

Do not recommend this place are scammers.

I had an absolutely horrible experience with this car rental company. They operate as multiple companies inside including Flexway. They also advertise being at the airport, but they're actually 11 miles away. When I arrived, no one answered the phone to pick me up, and when I finally got to the office, there was no one there. On top of that, they refused to accept my travelers car insurance and wanted to charge an extra $40 per day for mandatory insurance. When I was done, they had no shuttle to take me back to the airport. I had to call Priceline to cancel my reservation, but the rental company wouldn't even pick up for them to process a refund. This is false advertising and a complete bait-and-switch scam with outrageous hidden fees. Avoid at all costs!

Horrible service! We booked out flight and car rental together, flew into Tampa with reservations. Called to find out they are not in the Tampa Airport. We called the number on our reservation, a man answered very short and barely answering our questions as to what the pick up process cess was, he said they would send a shuttle. We waited for their shuttle ( which was not a problem at all), the driver wouldn’t speak any English and couldn’t communicate with us, once we reached the place of business, the lady at the counter couldn’t communicate with us, text someone to come to the counter, it was a very unpleasant and highly agitated man, we gave him the reservations number, DL, and car insurance that we purchased at the time we rented the car. He then advised we didn’t have the correct insurance. Mind you it’s in a Saturday, we can’t call our agent. Uncertain why they would sell insurance online if it wasn’t adequate enough for the car rental. After all is said and done, we Uber’s to our hotel.

Will absolutely never never rent from this place again. Horrible communication and customer service.

I strongly advise everyone to avoid doing business with Green Motion. My experience with them was nothing short of a nightmare. Initially, they presented what seemed like a fair deal, but as the process moved forward, they piled on hidden fees that were never disclosed upfront. These additional charges completely blindsided me, turning an affordable purchase into a financial burden. Their lack of transparency and honesty feels like a deliberate attempt to scam customers.

The customer service was equally appalling. Any questions or concerns I raised about the unexpected fees were met with indifference, excuses, and a complete unwillingness to take accountability or help. It’s clear this company cares more about squeezing every last penny from its customers than providing a fair and honest car-renting experience.

If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, steer clear of Green Motion . They are untrustworthy, deceptive, and an absolute headache to deal with. There are far better options out there—don’t let this company take advantage of you like they did me. I really can’t see them staying in business for long.

I wanted to rent a car from this company. They do not accept customer own car insurance (as Budget, Enterprise, Hertz do). It is not acceptable, the final price would be much higher.
They advertise a very low rental rate. That is the bait to attract you, but soon you'll pay more than the main car rental companies.
It may be their way to survive, but as a customer, I prefer to make myself happy first.
On top of everything, so many bad reviews say it all!
It is not advisable to start/complete a nice vacation with a bad experience!
I will choose Budget, Enterprise or Hertz.
