We went to Dr. Minzter for a second opinion after a terrible experience with another doctor. He was amazing and really knows how to engage with children. He took the time to explain everything to us and made everyone super comfortable. He has excellent bedside manner and you can tell he truly cares. Highly recommend!

Dr. Minzter is an exceptional pediatric ophthalmologist. My daughter is 2 years old. The way he gained our daughters trust during the exam and the one on one attention he gave her was amazing. Dr.Minzter is the Best pediatric ophthalmologist in New Jersey! Saw my grown children since they were babies, and in fact diagnosed my then two year old daughter as having extremely poor vision in one eye! (Who knew?!!!)
He patched her good eye in order to train her bad eye, and ultimately saved her vision. Aside from being a brilliant physician, he has a way of putting children at ease.
I’ve since highly recommended Dr Minzter to everyone, and he’s always received wonderful reviews.
I am forever grateful to Dr Minzter, and I unhesitatingly recommend him!

I have been taking my son to Dr. Mintzer since my son was 11 months old, almost 14 years now. On my first visit he explained my son's issue thoroughly and talked me through decisions that needed to be made. I never felt rushed out or pressured. Over all of these years he has made my: infant, toddler, little boy and now teenager comfortable during his visits. He now takes the time to explain to my son the issues in a way that is not condescending but is also honest. I am forever grateful that I took my son there. I know he saved my son's vision all those years ago. I cannot recommend him enough.
