I found Tarka originally by just using Google and was sceptical that for the money the quality and service might be less than perfect, however the end result was a good quality site that tells people exactly what I want them to know. It is clear that I could easily have paid three or four times more elsewhere for the same end result.
Communication from the start was excellent and I was given updates to view as the design progressed. I was also given the opportunity to use my own ideas and designs but the design style that Tarka suggested was perfect for my needs in any case.
Bearing in mind the modest charge, the whole process was great value for money. I would use James again for any future projects.

Hi all, this is no joke. I have put a review on this site regarding my experience with this company over the weekend and was call by the owner, the guy who presume to build my website to move it because it was reflecting negatively, I decided to do him the favour based upon he hand over my website files, he agreed. He told me he wouldn't hand it over before I removed the review, I believed him and coorporate. Listen, I approached him about building my website and he confirmed he can build it and offer free hosting. He cancelled the domain name after few months without telling me. After paying £350 and end up with a website that he used an old out dated software to build that had loads of issues according to a website specialist. I asked for a diagnosis of the website when I wasn't getting any traffic that was how I came to discover what was going on. Long story he waffle through and do everything in his power to stop me from moving on. I decided I was going to take the website and ask someone to sort it. He refuse to hand over the files until I requested deactivation. Listen customers Tarka web designer left me with no option. Remember, I paid for the website and even though I decided I want my files because I paid for it, he still lied that he send the info. He claimed he send it and I called another hosting company paid them to host the website for the files James suggested he send but they say there's no files. I have the email he send but its empty. I now reach my wits end, fed up so this is how I choose to demonstrate and I'm going to take legal action against this dude. He send the info bits by bits, I had to be requesting info as the current host team suggested. This is racism and discrimination. Don't trust this one he's bogus who to tell if he didn't pay for these few good reviews.

James set up a website for my hairdressing business, I've found the design really good and simple for users to use and I have found changing anything myself really easy to do, I can upload photos straight onto the website without having to involve a 3rd party it's great! Thank you very much

If I could give 0 stars I would. Why because James left me waiting 9 months with false promises for a website that he never delivered in the end. If you're after a simple copy/paste template site, this might work for you but if you need anything a little beyond that. Save yourself and go somewhere else.
